"Architecture is meant to be inhabited by humans and enhance their quality of life."
Really? Pretty limited scope.

Incredibly intense project. I love it.

' ...repository for mankind’s most valuable asset — knowledge. The architecture is an ark, protecting books from cumulative and catastrophic deterioration.'

Books? Paper books? That is not man's knowledge, or at least until Google Books scans them all. Cloud storage will save our knowledge, not any sort of built form.

What about the application of knowledge --- technology. Knowledge is of no value without an application. And why do we apply knowledge? - To improve our quality of life. Architecture is meant to be inhabited by humans and enhance their quality of life.
