Ying is a spatial experience designer with an interior design background trained in California College of the Arts, USA. After her last project in college, she started to be interested in smart space and transformable architecture. Her research direction during the time in IALab is interactive kinetic deployable surfaces triggered by body movement. Ying appreciates the power of physical space as much as she values connecting people. Therefore, the quality of the tangible world enhanced through the combination of mechanism and technology is always her design focus.
