From the 27 — 30 April 2016, The Interactive Architecture Lab ran a workshop for 60 participants at the Museum of Tomorrow (Museu do Amanha), at Praça Mauá, Rio de Janeiro. The workshop titled Constructing Proto-Ecologies (Construindo Proto-Ecologias) was the result of a partnership between the LAA Laboratorio de Atividades do Amanha (Tomorrow Laboratory) with the Arts and New Organisms Center (NANO) School of Fine Arts (EBA) and the Models and Digital Fabrication Laboratory (LAMO3D) from UFRJ: Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.

A symposium and 4 workshops took place in parallel. Rather than give a full explanation of each of them we’ve made films that show some of the process and results from the intense but very enjoyable 4 days.
