LightTank
This came from old class mate Chris O’Shea aka Pixelsumo. He’s blogged an experiment some of his collegues at AllofUs (Orlando Mathias and Mickey Stretton) did with a tank of water and a projector.

“By projecting simple white geometric shapes on to the side of the tank, the light is carried through the volume of the water, creating the illusion of depth. Small dust particles in the water help capture the light.”
