Interactive Architecture – Eyebeam – Report

  • On January 28, 2007

My thanks to everyone who came along to Eyebeam yesterday. It was amazing to see so many people turn up from both the architecture and interactive media world. I hope in some way that the event contributed a little bit to getting these often seperate worlds a little closer together. More details on the presentations will follow in the next posts.

My special thanks to Eyebeam for hosting us,  Phil Ayres, Carmen Trudell and Jennifer BroutinMarek Walczak, David Benjamin and Soo-in Yang for their  talks and Professor Stephen Gage for chairing the night.

I wish I could have made it down there for the weekend! Looking forward to the posts and more info from Mark Shepard.(who I believe was part of the jury right?) I study with him at the University of Buffalo within the dual degree program between architecture and media study.
Let me know of any future events that may take place!

  5. I had a really good time, and I’m glad you all enjoyed it. It was great to get a first hand idea of whats happening on the east coast of US in the world of interactive architecture and design.
